According to Adam Schefter, Justin Forsett is expected to suit up today against the San Francisco 49ers today in a matchup of two 1-4 teams. With Forsett in the lineup, Javorius Allen is no longer a legitimate option for teams looking for an injury or bye week fill-in.
Owners should also be hesitant to start Forsett, as he was limited in practice throughout the week, and he faces a San Francisco 49ers defense that has allowed the 5th fewest fantasy points to running backs so far this season. Forsett playing is also good news for Joe Flacco owners, as he is now a more attractive option with one of his favorite targets in the lineup.
The news helps keep the Ravens from becoming too one-dimensional on offense. Flacco will also be aided by the return of Steve Smith to the lineup after he missed Week 4 with a back injury.
