Tim Tebow, Josh Freeman Work Out For NFL Teams

On Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Philadelphia Eagles are working out ex-Broncos and Jets quarterback Tim Tebow.

Tebow, who drafted by the Denver Broncos with the 25th overall pick in the 2010 draft, has had nothing short of a whirlwind career. He played in only nine games his rookie season, starting three before leading the Broncos to the playoffs in 2011. He threw for 12 touchdowns and six interceptions that season with a 7-4 record when he started that year. That Denver squad beat Pittsburgh in a nail-biter in the first round before losing to the Patriots 45-10 in dominating fashion by New England.

The following season the Broncos signed Peyton Manning, shipping Tebow and a seventh-round pick to the New York Jets for a fourth and a sixth-round pick. He barely saw the field in New York, totaling 39 yards on six completions.

He was released by the Jets on April 29th, 2013 and shortly after signing a two-year deal with the New England Patriots. After performing poorly in the preseason Tebow was released among the final wave of cuts before the 2014 regular season. Not being able to find work in the NFL, since December of 2013 Tebow has pursued a career in bradcasting.

Now after not playing in the league for two seasons, Tom House, a quarterback guru Tebow has been working with said, "He went from being a little inaccurate and didn't throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball."

Inaccuracy was the main concern with Tebow's game when he played in the NFL as he only completed 47.9% of his passes over his three year career. Maybe now that he has become more accurate in his passing game he feels as if he can attempt a comeback, possibly with the Philadelphia. The moves that Kelly has made over the past two weeks would suggest that he would be the type of coach to sign Tebow to a contract, just to add a cherry on top to what has been an extremely chaotic couple of weeks for Eagles fans.

In other failed, washed up quarterback news Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman, also on Monday, reported that Josh Freeman was to work out with the New York Jets.

Freeman, 27, was a first-round pick in 2009 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over his inconsistent five-year career with the Buccaneers and one horrendous game with the Vikings on Monday Night Football, in which he was only the second quarterback since 1960 to attempt 50 passes for zero touchdowns and under 200 yards, he has compiled a record of 24 wins and 36 losses with 80 touchdowns, 67 interceptions and over 13,700 yards on a 57.6 completion percentage.

It would be fitting for the Jets to have interest in Freeman. One can only imagine what slice of fresh hell a trio of Geno Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Freeman would be.
