According to Sahadev Sharma and Patrick Mooney of The Athletic, the Chicago Cubs are targeting several options to improve their bullpen. According to Sharma and Mooney, the Cubs were eyeing Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates before the Dodgers signed both. However, the team has begun to pivot and is reportedly showing interest in Kenley Jansen, Ryan Pressly, and David Robertson, among others. All three would be top candidates to operate as the ninth-inning reliever in Chicago. Sharma and Mooney noted the team is also targeting other high-leverage options, such as Phil Maton and Brooks Raley. Jansen and Robertson are free agents at the back ends of their careers. Pressly is in the final year of his contract with the Houston Astros and would need to be acquired via trade. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor this situation as any of these options could be in line for double-digit save opportunities. For now, Porter Hodge is slated to be the team's primary closer.--Andy Smith
