Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber (upper body) will return to action in Saturday's matchup against Nashville. He has sat out four games while nursing an upper-body injury. The Wild have finally received some good news on the injury front after recently losing several players from their lineup. Faber averages nearly 25 minutes of ice time, so he's been a massive miss for the team. He should head straight back to the first defensive pairing and the top power-play unit. Zach Bogosian and Declan Chisholm will be used less with Faber back in the fold. Faber is fifth in scoring on the team with 20 points (five goals, 15 assists) and has racked up 54 blocks in 41 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber (upper body) has been ruled out for a fourth consecutive contest as the team gets ready to host Edmonton on Wednesday. He participated in the morning skate, which is a good sign that Faber should be good to go soon. Following Wednesday night, the Wild return to action on Saturday against Nashville. Jonas Brodin (lower body) isn't ready to return either. Jared Spurgeon (lower body) is a longer-term absentee from defense, meaning Travis Dermott and David Jiricek will continue to receive regular playing opportunities. At the same time, Declan Chisholm has additional fantasy value as a fill-in on the first power-play unit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber (upper body) will not play in Thursday's contest against Colorado. The talented blue-liner was injured on Tuesday versus Boston and could be absent for multiple games. Jonas Brodin (lower body) has also been ruled out for Thursday, leaving the Wild defense short of quality. Team captain Jared Spurgeon (lower body) has already sat out three games. Due to the injuries, Zach Bogosian will skate with Jake Middleton on the first defensive pairing, with Jon Merrill and Declan Chisholm forming the second pairing. David Jiricek will make his Wild debut on the third defensive pairing. Chisholm will have the most fantasy value among the Wild defensemen, as he's expected to skate with the first power-play unit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

According to the team, Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber (upper body) sustained an injury during Tuesday's contest. The 22-year-old logged just over four minutes of ice time before sustaining the injury. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his status before their next game against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday evening. Faber has been a critical part of Minnesota's defense all season. Faber has averaged just under 25 minutes of ice time per night and tallied 20 points across 41 games. He has registered 54 blocks and 15 hits. This is another tough blow for Minnesota's defense, as Jared Spurgeon (lower body) is already on the injured reserve. Travis Dermott would draw into the starting lineup if Faber were to miss time. --Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber (upper body) will play against Utah on Friday. He was injured in Wednesday's clash against Florida when a puck hit Faber in the neck near the end of the game. However, the talented blue-liner will not have to miss additional time. Faber averages over 25 minutes of action per game and is typically busy all over the ice. He has totaled 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) in 32 games with 41 shots and 42 blocks. Faber was on a three-game assist streak before the Panthers found a way to nullify his threat offensively.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
