CBB DFS: Night DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/11/25)

Mark Sears - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Night DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/11/25 Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

There are 24 games down and eight more to go! It's a packed night slate on DraftKings as well with at least as much star power as the other slates despite having four fewer games. We tip this off in Queens with Villanova facing the Johnnies. Oklahoma State heads out to SLC to take on the Utes.

Next is Alabama in College Station to face the Aggies. Indiana heads to Iowa City to take on the Hawkeyes. Kentucky is at The Hump to take on the Bulldogs. Washington State heads up to Spokane to face Gonzaga in a Pac-12 clash for next year, but truth be told, this game should have happened yearly long before now. Baylor is in the Valley of the Sun to take on the Fun Devils. We end down the road in Tucson with Central Florida facing Arizona.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 1/11/25, starting at 7 p.m. EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Mark Sears, Alabama ($9.4K)

If you have followed my picks this year, you know that we have talked at length about the struggles of Sears early in the season. I wouldn't touch him in DFS for the first month of the season.

I figured that Sears would find his shot at some point. Fortunately for Alabama, it was just in time for conference play. Sears has scored at least 20 points in six of the last seven games. In the Kent game, he had 16 points in only 26 minutes in the blowout win. He's getting 20 again, especially with Wade Taylor IV still out.

Zhuric Phelps, Texas A&M ($8.4K)

Phelps nuked a pretty good Oklahoma defense in Norman with Taylor out on Wednesday. I expect nothing less against Alabama tonight either. Phelps might have the highest ceiling on the slate.

V.J. Edgecombe, Baylor ($7.6K)

I have been impressed with how Edgecombe adapts to each game. You don't see a lot of freshmen do that. Iowa State locked him down defensively, so he did the same with four steals against the Cyclones and crashed the boards more since he didn't take as many shots. Edgecombe does whatever Baylor needs in any given game, which gives him a very strong DFS floor, but can also limit the ceiling a bit.

Tomas Thrastarson, Washington State ($5K)

The Cougs are now without Cedric Coward and Isaiah Watts, so that has opened up some minutes for Thrastarson. He has scored in double figures in three straight games, only missing two of his 12 shots from the floor. It's going to be tougher against Gonzaga, but the minutes and shots will be there.

Hayden Hefner, Texas A&M ($4.7K)

Phelps picked up almost all of the slack with Taylor out. I would expect that to be the case once again. Therefore, Hefner is the only other "safe" A&M guard. He has little upside unless Alabama shuts down Phelps, but the floor on Hefner is really good for the price.

Also consider: Ryan Nembhard, Gonzaga ($8.2K); RJ Luis Jr., St. John's ($7.8K); Kadary Richmond, St. John's ($7.3K); Otega Oweh, Kentucky ($6.8K); Claudell Harris Jr., Mississippi State ($6.3K); Tre Galloway, Indiana ($5.7K); Aaron Scott, St. John's ($5.1K); Dusty Stromer, Gonzaga ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Oumar Ballo, Indiana ($10.6K)

This is why Ballo has been feasting lately. Malik Reneau has missed the last three games. Indiana hasn't disclosed what is wrong with him, but he's not expected to play tonight. If he's out, Ballo could break the slate against a weak Iowa interior.

Keyshawn Hall, Central Florida ($7.9K)

You wouldn't know it if you watched the game against Kansas, but UCF is a solid team. Hall was the only bright spot against the Jayhawks. He still hit 30 DraftKings points in a game in which his team scored 48 total points. Hall now has four straight games over 30. He should hit that mark against Arizona as well.

Abou Ousmane, Oklahoma State ($6.3K)

We'll forgive the bad game against Houston. Everyone has a bad game against Houston. Ousmane has at least 25 DraftKings points in the other four of the last five games. He should be able to hold his own against this Utah front.

Luke Goode, Indiana ($5.2K)

Goode has picked up the rest of the slack with Reneau out. Unlike Reneau, Goode doesn't take away from the production of Ballo. The Hoosiers have still played well with Reneau out and Goode has a lot to do with that. He has cleared 20 DraftKings points in each of the last two games.

Brandon Garrison, Kentucky ($4.1K)

Andrew Carr is carrying a questionable tag into StarkVegas. If he's unable to go, Garrison could be in for a big game. He played well after Carr exited the Georgia game, putting up 28.75 DraftKings points in 27 minutes. If Carr is out, Garrison is a lock in any lineup.

Also consider: Norchad Omier, Baylor ($10.2K); Zuby Ejiofor, St. John's ($8.9K); Graham Ike, Gonzaga ($8K); LeJuan Watts, Washington State ($7.7K); Cameron Matthews, Mississippi State ($7.2K); Ethan Price, Washington State ($6.9K); Solomon Washington, Texas A&M ($5.3K); Derrion Reid, Alabama ($4.6K)
