The Las Vegas Raiders are planning to interview Pete Carroll for their vacant head coaching position. Carroll recently did an interview with the Chicago Bears and he already has another one lined up. The 73-year-old spent over a decade as the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. He won a Super Bowl there before being let go as head coach. However, Carroll remained with the organization in an advisor role last season. Now, it appears Carroll is ready to be a head coach once again. The Raiders recently fired their general manager, so that interview will likely happen before another GM takes over. It seems unlikely that Carroll and the Raiders would be a good fit. The Raiders are in the middle of a rebuild and Carroll likely wants to take over a team that can win-now, but who knows, possibly Carroll can turn them into contenders.--Andy Webb
