Mason Marchment Recovering From Surgery
Dallas Stars left wing Mason Marchment (face) will be absent for an extended period after undergoing surgery. Marchment was recently hit in the face by a puck, and a surgical intervention was needed to address fractures in his nose and facial area. The team expects Marchment to recover in four weeks. He is roughly a week and a half into the recovery period. Marchment has been highly impactful with the Stars in 2024-25, recording 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) and 44 hits. Jamie Benn has hopped on the second line during his absence. The Stars captain has been very productive in the role, scoring in three consecutive games and notching six points (four goals, two assists) in five contests.
