According to Brooks Bratten of the Predators, center Steven Stamkos (undisclosed) exited Tuesday's game against the Winnipeg Jets early with an injury. Stamkos sat out the entire third period of Tuesday's contest. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next game on Saturday night against the Washington Capitals. Before exiting, he tallied one shot on goal with one hit and a -1 rating. While he did not get on the scoresheet, the 34-year-old has been very productive over the past few weeks. Stamkos has tallied 12 points (five goals, seven helpers) over his previous 12 games and held a +5 rating over this span. If Stamkos were to time, Ryan O'Reilly would likely move up to the top line.--Andy Smith
