During tournament time in college basketball, the turnaround is rather quick, which is why we are a little later today. The slates aren't up as quickly as usual. We have some big names on here (Michigan State, Auburn, Villanova) and some great on-campus matchups. We have Florida/FSU in Gainesville. We have San Diego State and St Mary's. We have a great one in Seattle with Xavier travelling out west. This is going to be a blast!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/17/23, starting at 6:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Walter Clayton, Florida ($8,000)
Riley Kugel might have the higher upside when his shot is falling, but Clayton is the guy stuffing the stat sheet. He has 39 points in the first three games, but what is really setting him apart is the 15 assists, 15, rebounds, and five steals. He has even chipped in a couple of blocks for good measure. Clayton even had a strong game against a stout Virginia defense. I trust him more than most on this slate.
Justin Moore, Villanova ($7,300)
Yeah, he's been around forever. That kind of experience is easy to rely on early in the season. Moore returned again to make one more run with the Wildcats. He is getting a great volume of shots (45 in the first three games) in the early going and is sinking around 44% of them. This is a different-looking Villanova team and Moore is asked to be more of a scorer along with his facilitating skills. So far, the scoring is going well.
Sahvir Wheeler, Washington ($6,200)
The Kentucky transfer has made a big splash so far in Seattle. In his first two games with the Huskies, Wheeler has 32 points, seven rebounds, 12 assists, a block, and a steal. Not bad! He has also played 47 minutes in those two games. It might have been more had he not fouled out in the loss to Nevada. Wheeler could be in for a big season out west and I'm jumping on the train early!
Posh Alexander, Butler ($5,600)
Another old face in a new place, the St. John's transfer has been outstanding for the Bulldogs so far. Alexander has 41 points, eight rebounds, 14 assists, and eight steals in his first three games in Indianapolis. Alexander's stat-sheet stuffing was prominent for the Red Storm the last few years, but he's showing some scoring chops too. As long as Posh keeps up his very efficient scoring to go with his peripherals, he's a steal in DFS.
Also consider: Jahmir Young, Maryland ($8,100); Riley Kugel, Florida ($7,900); Aidan Mahaney, St. Mary's ($7,300); Mika Adams-Woods, St. Bonaventure ($6,500); Jaden Akins, Michigan State ($6,100); Reese Waters, San Diego State ($5,700); Myles Stute, South Carolina ($5,300); Desmond Claude, Xavier ($5,000); K.T. Raimey, DePaul ($4,000)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Keion Brooks, Washington ($9,300)
Brooks, another Kentucky transplant, has thrived with his former teammate running the show in Seattle. Brooks has 73 points and 24 rebounds in the first three games of the season. Wow! I wouldn't expect that kind of production against a good team like Xavier, but there's no reason to think that Brooks can't hit 30 DraftKings points again.
Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($8,000)
LeDee has been a force to start this season. He has 75 points in his first three games alone! Not only that, but LeDee has hauled in 28 rebounds! The Aztecs were looking for a little more scoring this year. So far, LeDee has filled that role nicely. He might be my favorite play on this entire slate.
Jeremiah Oden, DePaul ($6,900)
The Blue Demons are playing everyone close, but they are losing to teams that they shouldn't. That doesn't matter for DFS. What is does mean is that the starters are all playing big minutes already. Most teams aren't doing that. Oden is averaging 14 points and six rebounds over the first three games. That's good production in this price range. They should be able to hang with South Carolina, meaning another good stat line from Oden.
B.J. Mack, South Carolina ($6,100)
Mack spent the last three season with the Wofford Terriers. His move to Columbia has gone very well so far. Mack has 49 points, 22 rebounds, three steals, two assists, and two blocks in the early going for the Gamecocks. He should be able to notch another big game against the DePaul interior. He might be the best bargain on the slate tonight.
Also consider: Johni Broome, Auburn ($9,400); Mitchell Saxen, St. Mary's ($7,000); Jaylin Williams, Auburn ($6,400); Tyrese Samuel, Florida ($6,200); Jamir Watkins, Florida State ($5,600); Assa, Essamvous, St. Bonaventure; Dylan Cardwell, Auburn ($3,800)
