Tristan Beck Hammered In Loss To Rays
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Tristan Beck had a night to forget on Monday in a 10-2 loss to the visiting Tampa Bay Rays. Beck picked up his second loss of the season after getting demolished to the tune of five earned runs on 10 hits while walking one and striking out two in three innings of work after opener Ryan Walker threw the first two frames. Lefty Sean Manaea was expected to serve as the bulk reliever on Monday, but instead it was Beck. The 27-year-old Beck has struggled in his last two appearances, allowing eight earned runs on 12 hits while walking three and fanning four in six innings to bring his season ERA up to 3.61 on the year in 62 1/3 innings pitched.
