Harrison Bader Batting Cleanup In Game 2 Against Astros
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader is starting in center field and is hitting leadoff for Game 2 of the American League Championship Series on Thursday against the Houston Astros and left-hander Framber Valdez. Bader, who played in only 14 regular season games for the team after being acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals at the trade deadline in August, has been the Yankees' hottest hitter this postseason. The 28-year-old has gone 5-for-19 with four home runs, five RBI, five runs scored and two walks in six games played. In the Game 1 loss to the Astros on Wednesday, Bader hit his fourth round-tripper in the 4-2 defeat. With Bader in the top spot in the order, second baseman Gleyber Torres drops to fifth in the lineup.
