BALLER MOVE: Target as OF3
ANALYSIS: With all of the hype surrounding the Cubs heading into 2015, one name that has nearly been lost in the shuffle is Cuban outfielder Jorge Soler.
At 6’4”, 215 pounds, Soler is an impressive physical specimen with five-tool talent. He hit .340 with 15 HR and 57 RBI in just 62 games in the minors in 2014, and was summoned in August to the big leagues, where he hit .292 with 5 HR and 20 RBI in 89 at-bats.
Like most young power hitters, Soler tends to be over-aggressive at times. He struck out 24 times in his 24 big league games while walking just six times. Still, the young outfielder has the skills to adjust to big league pitching. Most of Soler's fantasy value will come in the form of home runs and runs batted in. He is a solid choice for the third or fourth OF spot in standard formats, but has the opportunity to return OF2 value.
