BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Xavier Worthy enters this week as a strong WR3 with an appealing boom upside for fantasy managers.
Last week, he showed his potential as a playmaker, garnering eight targets and catching four for 37 yards and a touchdown. While his yardage wasn’t overwhelming, his involvement, especially as a red-zone target, signals his potential role in a pass-heavy offense.
This week’s matchup between the Chiefs and Buccaneers is projected to be high-scoring, which would provide Worthy with more opportunities to capitalize on his deep-play abilities.
As the Chiefs’ primary deep threat, he could exploit a Buccaneers defense susceptible to big plays, particularly if the game turns into an offensive shootout. With DeAndre Hopkins and Travis Kelce operating as Mahomes’ primary quick-read targets, Worthy is positioned to benefit from single coverage downfield.
I thought Sunday was Xavier Worthy's most complete game as a WR so far, showing more routes in the bag as his role expands
One thing we're seeing more is the Chiefs put Worthy isolated by himself, where teams give a cushion for him. This allows him to win quick underneath pic.twitter.com/Aj5lZLisqQ

His speed and ability to stretch the field make him a viable big-play candidate, particularly when defenses focus on Hopkins and Kelce underneath.
Worthy's role as the team’s main deep threat should lead to several high-value targets, and in a game where the Chiefs are likely to keep passing, his chances to break free for significant yardage are solid.
If Worthy connects on a long pass or two, he could exceed WR3 expectations and deliver a standout performance.
