After shaking off early-season injuries that benched him for the first couple of games, Tee Higgins has been lighting it up, proving yet again why he's among the more electrifying wide receivers in the game.
Here's a heads-up: the Bengals’ track record with injury transparency is about as clear as mud. Remember when coach Zac Taylor caught heat in 2022 for some last-minute benching antics with Higgins and separately, Cincinnati was investigated by the NFL for not being forthcoming about Joe Burrow's wrist in 2023?
Plus, Higgins just showed up on the injury report with a quad issue as of Friday in Week 8. Keep your eyes peeled--Cincinnati kicks off early at 1 pm this Sunday, so you’ll have the scoop in time to make that crucial call on whether to start him or sit him.

Tee Higgins Fantasy Football Injury Update
UPDATE: Higgins is officially OUT for Week 8
Despite the Bengals’ offensive hiccup against the Browns in Week 7, where they only mustered 14 points, Tee Higgins was a bright spot with his solid performance. He snagged four of his eight targets for a neat 82 yards and a touchdown.
Heading into Week 8, Higgins and the Bengals are gearing up for a juicy clash with a Philadelphia Eagles secondary that's been about as sturdy as wet paper--expect fireworks in a game that’s carrying a hefty 47.5-point total.
Per sources, there’s a real chance Bengals WR Tee Higgins, who injured his quad in Friday’s practice, has to miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The Bengals are planning to go right up until game time before deciding, but there’s pessimism about his chances to play.

Unfortunately, things are trending in the wrong direction for Higgins, with his status now looking like he's going to be out of action in Week 8.
Tee Higgins Fantasy Football Injury Impact
Unfortunately, not having Higgins isn't the best thing for quarterback Joe Burrow either, but if Cincinnati can find a way to win this game they'd be sitting at 4-4 on the year after a 1-4 start. As of now, it sounds like it's going to take a miracle for Higgins to be out there in Week 8.
Monitor the injury reports as they come in, but as of right now, I'd be making other plans at wide receiver.
