Jon Morosi of the MLB Network reports that after losing starting pitchers Madison Bumgarner (hand) and Jeff Samardzija (shoulder) to injuries, the Giants could talk to the Mets about acquiring starting pitchers. Heyman does note that the Mets are unlikely to move any pitching, but the Giants can still seek outside help from another organization.
