Bruce Maxwell Returns From Restricted List
Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell was activated off the restricted list Monday, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Maxwell was ineligible to enter into Canada due to a pending sentencing in a legal issue. Josh Phegley is being sent back down to Nashville in a corresponding move. Jonathan Lucroy remains Oakland's starting catcher.
Khris Davis Likely Headed To DL
Oakland Athletics outfielder Khris Davis is likely disabled list-bound due to a right groin strain, according to manager Bob Melvin.
