DraftDaily Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/8/18): MLB DFS Lineups
In preparation for today's freeroll on DraftDaily, below you can find my recommended lineup picks. If you've never played on DraftDaily before, it is fairly similar to the other sites, but you tend to lose more points. Points are taken away for strikeouts and home runs allowed, but you also earn points for sacrifice flies. […]
Shohei Ohtani Exits with Blister on Wednesday
Updating an earlier report, Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani exited Wednesday's game with a blister on his right middle finger. Ohtani was warming up in the fifth inning when trainers came out and removed him. Last time this happened, he was able to make his next scheduled start, but this time around could […]
Shohei Ohtani Exits on Wednesday
Los Angeles Angels starter Shohei Ohtani exited Wednesday's game in the fifth inning with an apparent injury. He was warming up before trainers came out to look at him. It looked like his hand was bothering him, so it's possible this is another blister issue for the pitcher. More will be known after the game.
Andrelton Simmons to DL with Ankle Injury
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) was not listed on Wednesday's lineup card. With Kaleb Cowart back, it sounds like Simmons has been placed on the disabled list. Expect Zack Cozart, who is starting at shortstop on Wednesday, to continue to do so in Simmons' absence. Cowart is likely just infield depth, although he […]
Michael Hermosillo Continues to Start
For the fourth time in five days, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Michael Hermosillo has drawn the start for the Angels. He appears to have taken over regular duties in right field in place of Kole Calhoun, who is on the disabled list. Calhoun is hitting .145 on the year, however, so there's a possibility that […]
Albert Pujols Expected Back Friday
Los Angels Angels first baseman/designated hitter Albert Pujols is once again out of the lineup on Wednesday. He is nursing a sore foot but is planning to return on Friday after LA's off day on Thursday. Justin Upton will draw the start at DH, with Luis Valbuena filling in at first base. Expect Pujols back to […]
Andrew Heaney Twirls a Gem
Los Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney bounced back from a rough start at the end of May to spin a gem on Tuesday. He tossed a complete-game shutout, only allowing one hit and one walk. He struck out four on 116 pitches. Heaney now has a 3.11 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP on the year […]
Andrelton Simmons on Crutches After Game
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) was seen walking around on crutches after Tuesday's game. He exited the game after slipping in the dugout and hurting his ankle. He said to the press that he is hoping to only miss a few games, but he did acknowledge that a disabled list stint is a possibility. […]
Andrelton Simmons Exits Early on Tuesday
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (leg) exited Tuesday's game with an apparent injury. He pulled up running with an apparent leg injury. There will be more details to come, but this would be a big blow to the Angels and fantasy owners if Simmons were to miss any time.
DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/6/18): MLB DFS Lineups
We have plenty of games today, but it is broken into two slates. The early slate is significantly smaller, featuring only five games. The later slate is much larger with 10 games, and that is the slate we are going to focus on here. In this article, I will be providing you with my daily […]
Albert Pujols has Sore Left Knee
Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols has a sore left knee. It isn't anything major, but he is out of Tuesday's lineup and is expected to sit out on Wednesday as well. With an off day Thursday, Pujols should be back in the lineup on Friday. Luis Valbuena is starting in his place on […]
Kaleb Cowart Demoted to Triple-A
It appears the Los Angeles Angels have sent down infielder Kaleb Cowart and recalled reliever Eduardo Paredes, at least according to their lineup card. Cowart is 0-for-1 with a run scored on the season, having only played in two games. He was recalled for extra infield depth when Zack Cozart was nursing a forearm strain, but […]
Albert Pujols Not in Tuesday's Lineup
Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols (rest) is not in Tuesday's starting lineup against the Kansas City Royals. This sounds like it's just a routine day off for the veteran slugger. Shohei Ohtani is also out of Tuesday's lineup, but that is likely because he is pitching on Wednesday. Mike Trout will serve as […]
FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/6/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice
Major League Baseball decided to do a pretty imbalanced Wednesday split of day game and night games. As such, the Early Only slate is pretty weak, and the Main looks attractive (well, minus the dropoff of tonight as compared to last night - more on that later). As such, this article will concentrate on the […]
Jordyn Adams Selected 17th Overall By Angels
With the 17th overall selection in the 2018 MLB Amateur draft, the Los Angeles Angels selected 18-year-old outfielder Jordyn Adams out of Green Hope High School as a senior. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, Adams looks to be one of the fastest prospects in the 2018 draft so far. He holds scouting grades of […]

We have a monster 14-game slate to break down today, and there are some great options across the board. There are a few high-priced pitchers on the slate you should be looking to pay up for, along with plenty of bats you want to jam into your lineups. In this article, I will be providing you […]
Shohei Ohtani Out on Monday
Los Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is not in the lineup on Monday against left-hander Danny Duffy and the Kansas City Royals. Ohtani likely will not hit again until Friday, as he pitches Wednesday. Ohtani has been starting against both right- and left-handers but will get the day off against Duffy. Make sure to remove […]

DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/4/18): MLB DFS Lineups
We only have four games to choose from in the DraftKings main slate (7:10pm EST start time). The NYY/DET matchup will be Game 2 of a doubleheader. They are projected to score the most runs on Monday (5.6 implied run total). While the Yankees are strong favorites (-200), the Angels are a close second (-190). […]
FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/4/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice
We've got an exceptionally small Monday slate, and there are really no "safe" pitching options. That means there is plenty of cash to go around to use on batters. The Yankees figure to be the stack of the day, but Atlanta and Arizona are also intriguing options to consider, even if the ballpark isn't the […]
Trading Up - Paul Goldschmidt
Since 2013, Paul Goldschmidt has helped fantasy baseball owners win leagues in every format. This season I’ve been seeing posts for a month declaring Goldschmidt as “old-s**t.” It’s a steep fall. At the start of the season, Goldschmidt was a no-doubt first-round pick. Owners could take him number 3, and someone might grumble about Nolan […]

Kole Calhoun to DL With Oblique Strain
Los Angeles Angels right fielder Kole Calhoun has been placed on the DL with an oblique strain. There has been no timetable listed for his return. Calhoun has been the worst hitter in the entire major leagues this year, slashing an abysmal .145/.195/.179. Michael Hermosillo has been recalled in his place. Calhoun should not be […]
Andrelton Simmons Gets Day Off Sunday
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers. Simmons has been on fire recently going 10 for his last 25 with an OPS of 1.043, bringing his season numbers up to a .336 average and .874 OPS. He is the fifth ranked shortstop in fantasy and […]

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/3/18. The lineup picks will range from some […]

Happy Sunday DFS players. Today's main slate is loaded with amazing matchups for high-priced superstars which makes finding value in cheap options more important than ever (see RotoBallers "Value Plays" article closer to game time). There are also quite a few solid options at starting pitcher in the FanDuel main slate such as Charlie Morton, […]
Week 10 Waiver Wire - Second Base (2B) and Shortstop (SS)
Being a fantasy writer, like being a fantasy owner, means being wrong on something of a regular basis. So when you nail one, it’s important to acknowledge (read: gloat about) it. If you heeded last week’s advice and picked up the heretofore scuffling Ian Kinsler, you were rewarded with a week in which he collected […]
