Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada went 3-for-4 with a home run and two doubles versus the Twins on Saturday. Moncada also scored twice and drove in a pair. The first time All-Star is having a breakout season and is now hitting .302 with 20 home runs and 59 RBI.
Daniel Descalso Placed On Injured List
The Chicago Cubs have placed infielder Daniel Descalso (ankle) on the 10-day injured list with a left ankle sprain. Descalso has struggled mightily at the plate this year with a .181 batting average and two home runs. Even when healthy, Descalso can remain on the waiver wire in all formats.
