Zack Greinke To Make A Rehab Start On Thursday
3 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Zack Greinke (neck) is scheduled to make a rehab outing at Triple-A Sugar Land on Thursday. The 37-year-old veteran landed on the injured list due to neck soreness this past weekend after being scratched from his last start. Astros manager Dusty Baker called it a "distinct possibility" that Greinke could work out of the bullpen in the postseason, something that Greinke had also mentioned last week. We won't see Greinke making another start in the majors during the regular season in 2021 so he can safely be dropped in all redraft leagues. Over 29 starts this year, he went 11-6 with a 4.11 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP.
