4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz caught three passes in a Week 17 loss to the Washington Football Team, gaining just 16 yards total. Ertz was targeted six times, leading the team in targets on a day that fellow tight end Dallas Goedert (calf) was unable to play. The former alpha-TE1 named Zach Ertz may not even be the same person we saw on the field this season. Ertz spent five games on IR this season but was disappointing even when healthy, totaling just 36 catches for 336 yards and one touchdown all year. Ertz had asked for an extension earlier this season, and the Eagles declined. There's plenty of reason to believe he's played his last game in an Eagles uniform, and even more reason to believe he's long played his last game as a fantasy TE1.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
