Yordan Alvarez Returns To Action On Tuesday
5 months agoHouston Astros outfielder/designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (knee) is serving as the DH and is batting third for the Astros on Tuesday versus the visiting Miami Marlins and left-hander Trevor Rogers. Fantasy managers will be thrilled to find that Alvarez is back in the starting lineup for the Astros after he left Saturday's game early against the Minnesota Twins after being hit in the right knee by a pitch. The 27-year-old All-Star didn't play on Sunday but apparently recovered nicely after a scheduled off day on Monday. Get Alvarez back into all starting fantasy lineups on Tuesday against Rogers. Alvarez is one of the best hitters in all of baseball and is batting an absurd .355 (39-for-110) against left-handed pitching this year, although with only five of his 19 home runs on the season. The Cuban slugger has never faced Rogers in his career.
