Yoenis Cespedes' Heel Surgery Delayed
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes' (heel) left heel surgery has been delayed a few days due to a scheduling conflict, but it should still be done by the end of this month, which would keep him on track to begin baseball activities around late February/early March. Cespedes had surgery on his right heel earlier this year and played in a career-low 38 games as a big fantasy bust in 2018. He managed to hit .262/.325/.496 with nine home runs and 29 RBI. Cespedes won't be ready for the start of the season and has become too big of an injury risk for most fantasy owners. While he still has talent when healthy, is it worth the cost? His fantasy stock is on the decline.
