X-Rays Negative On Joe Ross
5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross was removed from the game after 3 1/3 innings on Monday after he was hit by a comebacker off the bat of Pirates first baseman Josh Bell. Thankfully, X-rays came back negative on Ross. It remains to be seen if Ross will be able to make his next start. He tossed 3 1/3 scoreless innings before his departure and now sports a 5.48 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 38 strikeouts in 46 innings over 23 outings (five starts) for Washington.
