X-Rays Negative On Harrison Bader
5 years agoX-rays on St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Harrison Bader's (elbow) came back negative after he left the game early in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Wednesday after being hit by a pitch, according to manager Mike Shildt. It remains to be seen if Bader will be in the lineup for Game 2 Wednesday night. Don't be surprised if Jose Martinez is starting in the outfield in Game 2, as he came in to replace Bader in Game 1. Bader's injury doesn't seem serious, though, so he shouldn't miss much time moving forward. As more of a defensive specialist, he really only has appeal in NL-only leagues.
