6 years agoNew York Mets manager Mickey Callaway said infielder Wilmer Flores (knees) has "some arthritis buildup" in his knees. The injury isn't believed to be serious and wouldn't have kept Flores out for more than 10 days if it weren't the end of the regular season. Even on a bad team, Flores didn't see regular playing time and hit .267/.319/.417 with only 11 home runs and 51 RBI in 386 at-bats.
