Willie Calhoun Leaves Early With Quad Tightness
5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun (quadriceps) left the game early on Tuesday after six innings with tightness in his left quadriceps. He'll be re-evaluated on Wednesday. Calhoun was 0-for-2 before leaving on Tuesday and is 10-for-23 (.435) and has reached base six times in 12 plate appearances since being called up last week. Danny Santana entered the game in center field to replace Calhoun on Tuesday evening. Calhoun has been great for those in deep mixed leagues who picked him up, so hopefully this is only a day-to-day type of injury.
