2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers backstop William Contreras is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to MLB.com. The catcher hasn't found his swing yet this season, as he owns just a .720 OPS with no home runs but is batting .310. Victor Caratini will take his place behind the plate and bat sixth to face right-hander Merrill Kelly. The 29-year-old hasn't been a productive hitter since 2019 and owns a career .232/.316/.351 slash line. This season, Caratini is batting .200 with no homers over three contests. He doesn't offer much fantasy value, and there are better options on the waiver wire.--Spencer Seguin
