Will Fuller V Signing With Dolphins
4 years agoHouston Texans speedy free-agent wide receiver Will Fuller V is signing an undisclosed one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, according to sources. Fuller gives the Dolphins a big-time deep threat, which should help second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's development. Fuller is entering his age-27 season and although he's been extremely injury-prone in his career -- he hasn't played in more than 14 games in a single season in five years in the NFL -- he can be a difference-maker both in real life and for fantasy managers when he's on the field. In 11 games in Houston in 2020, Fuller had 53 catches (75 targets) for a career-high 879 yards and eight touchdowns. There is plenty of fantasy upside here, but the move from Deshaun Watson as his QB to Tagovailoa is a clear downgrade. Miami should enter the 2021 season with Fuller, DeVante Parker and Preston Williams in three-wide sets.
