Wide Receiver Not A High Priority For Packers
6 years agoEven though the Green Bay Packers lost wide receiver Randall Cobb to free agency this offseason, it might not make much sense for them to go after a wideout with either of their first-round picks (No. 12, No. 30). There's a growing sense with the team's decision-makers that receiver isn't a top-four need for the team. Davante Adams is the only proven receiver on the squad, but Geronimo Allison is returning from injury and second-year players J'mon Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown all have potential. Fan-favorite Jake Kumerow is also in the picture. All indications are that defensive tackle and offensive tackle are bigger priorities for the Packers in this year's draft early on.
