1 year agoThe Chicago White Sox placed relief pitcher Liam Hendriks (elbow) on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to June 10) on Sunday with right-elbow inflammation and recalled left-hander Tanner Banks from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. It's an inconvenience for Hendriks and the White Sox, but the 34-year-old right-handed Aussie will certainly overcome this after beating cancer in 2023. Hendriks has only one save and has allowed three runs on four hits while walking one and striking out three in his five innings out of the bullpen after returning from a successful battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Fantasy managers should keep him stashed for saves once he's ready to return. In the meantime, expect Joe Kelly and Kendall Graveman to share save opportunities for the White Sox.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
