Wendell Carter Jr. Has Double-Double Performance
4 years agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. rolled to a double-double in Thursday's loss to Atlanta, notching 12 points on 4-for-11 shooting and adding 11 boards. He swatted away one shot and was 4-for-6 at the charity stripe. Carter Jr. had a very solid run for the team last month, but he then hurt his eye to miss some time and Mo Bamba took over. On Thursday, it was time for Bamba (illness) to take a seat. The Magic bigs finish the year with a nightmare of a matchup against Philly, with two games scheduled against Joel Embiid's squad. It would be a huge boost for Carter Jr. and Bamba if the Sixers would sit their star center.
