5 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed catcher Welington Castillo (head) on the seven-day concussion injured list on Saturday and called up catcher Seby Zavala from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move, according to a source. Castillo took a foul tip off his mask on Friday night and had to leave the game early. He's done very little in 2019, hitting just .176/.286/.318 with three home runs and 10 RBI in 85 at-bats. James McCann has been the much better offensive talent and will be the primary catcher going forward with Zavala backing him up.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
