Wade Miley Projected To Start Game 1 Of NLDS
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Wade Miley is projected to start Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Rockies on Thursday. The left-hander was a nice surprise in 2018, going 5-2 with a 2.75 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 50 strikeouts in 80 2/3 innings over 16 starts. However, he struck out just 5.6 batters per nine innings, so it could be tough for him to go deep into this game while facing such a potent Colorado lineup. Miley allowed three earned runs on five hits while walking three and striking out five in five innings in a no-decision against the Rockies at home on Aug. 5.
