Wade LeBlanc On Track For Rehab Outing This Week
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc (oblique) had a successful bullpen session on Monday and should be ready to start a minor league rehab assignment later this week as he makes his return from a strained oblique. The left-hander was 2-0 with a 4.50 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 6.8 K/9 in his first three starts before getting injured. It wouldn't be wise to expect him to return to an ERA under 4.00 over the entire year like he did in 2018, and his mediocre career 6.8 K/9 show his limited upside. He's best left to those in AL-only leagues when he returns to the rotation.
