Vyncint Smith Expected To Have Surgery
4 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Vyncint Smith (core) is expected to have surgery on Tuesday with Dr. William Meyers for his core muscle injury, according to a source. Smith will likely be out at least a month, which means he is a good bet to miss the start of the 2020 season. An already pretty weak New York receiving corps has been further weakened by injury with both Smith and rookie Denzel Mims currently out. Breshad Perriman and Jamison Crowder should see all the work that they can handle to kick off the season. With Smith likely out for Week 1 and possibly longer, Braxton Berrios has an opportunity for more playing time early in the season. You can ignore Smith in most fantasy drafts.
