Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Won't Debut Against Giants
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. won't come up to make his major league debut against the Giants in the series that starts on Tuesday, but he could be brought up for the homestand that begins on Friday against the A's. The top prospect in baseball is over the oblique strain he suffered in spring training and has already resumed torturing minor league pitching at Triple-A Buffalo. He'll immediately become the starting third baseman and the best hitter in Toronto when he makes his big league debut, likely this weekend. He'll provide an immediate boost to fantasy teams and should be owned in all formats already. Brandon Drury will become a utility player when Vlad Jr. arrives.
