3 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Vitek Vanecek will make a second consecutive start on Sunday against L.A. The Czech netminder has been outplayed by Ilya Samsonov this season, but the Russian has struggled lately and it's given Vanecek a chance to boost his stock. The 25-year-old carries a 6-3-5 record for the season with a 2.47 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
