6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Eagles, according to a source. Davis will finish with 25 catches for 367 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games this year. With Jordan Reed (toe) also out, Jeremy Sprinkle will once again serve as the starting tight end to close out the season. He has five catches on six targets for 41 yards and a touchdown the last two weeks but will be a desperation TE2 this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
