Vance McDonald Restructures Deal
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Vance McDonald restructured his deal on Tuesday to help the team free up over $2 million in salary cap space by converting around $3 million of his base salary into a signing bonus for this year, according to a league source. McDonald caught just 14 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown in 10 games with Pittsburgh in his first season with them in 2017. The oft-injured tight end has never played a full season in his five years, but he'll be the team's top pass-catching tight end. Take a flier on him as a low-end TE2 in deeper leagues.
