Tyrrell Hatton The Favorite In His Group
2 years agoTyrrell Hatton comes into the WGC Match Play off an impressive weekend at TPC Sawgrass where he vaulted into a solo second-place finish. Hatton shot 68 on Saturday and 65 on Sunday, when the rest of the field was struggling, to record his best PGA Tour finish of the season. Looking back at this week, Hatton will be making his sixth career start at the WGC Match Play. Hatton has won his group in this event three of his last four starts and was the top speed in the group two of those three times. Half of Hatton's 2023 group is seeded outside the top-45, as well as the 19 seed Russell Henley. In DFS, Hatton will have a higher price than the rest of his group, but he is nearly a lock to advance through the first round.
