Tyrese Haliburton Records First Double-Double Of The Season
3 years agoSacramento Kings point guard Tyrese Haliburton went for his first double-double of the season in Monday's 129-107 victory over Detroit, posting 17 points on 7-for-11 shooting and handing out 10 dimes. He enjoyed a perfect night from downtown with a 3-for-3 effort and had two rebounds with two steals, one block and five turnovers in a team-high 35 minutes. The Kings are rolling with two point guards in the starting unit and it's kept Haliburton's assists numbers down this season, but the 21-year-old has been making more plays in recent outings. He will go up against the Timberwolves next in a matchup between two pacy teams and that should put Haliburton in a good spot to fill the box score again.
