Tyrell Williams Thinks He's A No. 1 Receiver
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers impending free-agent wide receiver Tyrell Williams believes he's a No. 1 wideout in the NFL. The undrafted receiver exceeded expectations in his four years with the team, but he had just 41 catches for 653 yards and five touchdowns in 2018. Williams had 155 catches for 2,530 yards and 17 total touchdowns in four years with the Bolts. His best season came in 2016 when Keenan Allen missed the season due to a torn ACL, as he led the team in receptions (69) and receiving yards (1,059) and was tied for the team lead with seven TDs. He has never missed a game in his career. Williams could get too expensive for LA in free agency, and they already have Mike Williams ready to replace him as the No. 2. The Chargers have $22.8 million in salary cap space, which puts them in the bottom half of the league. While Williams' fantasy stock is down, he could be a sleeper in 2019 depending on where he lands in free agency.
