Tyrell Williams Expected To Return In Week 8
5 years agoOakland Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson said that wide receiver Tyrell Williams (foot) "looked good yesterday and followed it up with another good day today. So, we're excited to get him back." It sounds like the Raiders expect Williams to return this Sunday against the Texans for the first time since Week 4. The first-year Raider has been dealing with plantar fasciitis, so he's not a guarantee to be effective in his first game back. Williams does have four touchdowns in four games played, but don't let that distract you from the fact that he hasn't had over seven targets in a game and hasn't gone over 46 yards other than a 105-yard Week 1. He'll be a low-upside WR3 despite the good matchup if he returns. Tight end Darren Waller remains Oakland's top pass-catcher.
