Tyler Skaggs To Start Friday
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs, who has been out since April 12 with a sprained left ankle, will return from the 10-day injured list and make the start on Friday at the Royals. The left-hander threw two bullpen sessions of more than 40 pitches and has been cleared to return. It'll be a good matchup for Skaggs, but he'll be a little more risky from a fantasy point of view if he doesn't go as long in his first start back. The 27-year-old should remain owned in most leagues. He was sporting a 4.20 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 14 strikeouts in 15 innings in his first three starts. We wouldn't blame you if you're hesitant to use him this weekend.
