Tyler Skaggs In Line To Start Saturday
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs (forearm) allowed a hit while striking out seven and walking none in 5 1/3 innings of a minor league game on Monday. He's now in line to start the third game of the season against the A's on Saturday. The left-hander went 8-10 with a 4.02 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 129 strikeouts in 125 1/3 innings last year for the Angels and could be undervalued in mixed leagues as long as he stays healthy throughout the season. It's probably not a great idea to run with him right off the bat this weekend, though.
