5 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tyler Mahle will be called up to start Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Cardinals on Saturday. Mahle is 2-10 this year with a 4.93 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, 106 strikeouts and 26 walks in 102 1/3 innings over 19 starts with the Reds. The strikeout and walk rates are nice, but he's just been way too inconsistent for fantasy owners to trust in mixed leagues. He won't be a recommended streamer this weekend against a hot Cardinals lineup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
