Tyler Anderson Scratched From Monday Start
6 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Tyler Anderson (shoulder) has been scratched from his start on Monday against the Phillies due to left shoulder soreness. Instead, Jon Gray will take his place. It's unclear if Anderson will be able to make another start before the end of the regular season on Sunday. Gray was passed over in the rotation of late because he's just been so inconsistent, going 11-8 with a 5.07 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 9.6 K/9 over 29 starts. The strikeouts are nice, but his command has been spotty and he's allowing a career-high 1.4 home runs per nine innings. Gray will be worth streaming consideration, but he's a risky choice in mixed leagues.
