Ty Jerome Scores Career-High 23 Points With Five Treys
4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Ty Jerome produced a big performance off the bench in Thursday's loss to Cleveland, going for a career-high 23 points on 9-for.16 shooting in 32 minutes. He finished 5-for-9 from outside and had three rebounds and three assists to go along with the points. Theo Maledon led the starters with 14 points, Moses Brown picked up a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double Jerome went 0-for-8 with the three-ball in the previous two games, but he's a very good shooter from downtown. The 23-year-old is also a decent playmaker, averaging 3.8 assists in 24.6 minutes this month. Jerome can try his hands against Philadelphia's tough defense next. The Sixers give up the seventh-least bench points in the league and they also guard the three-point line well, so don't expect big things from the 23-year-old in that particular matchup.
