Troy Tulowitzki Only Wants To Play Shortstop
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki isn't interested in playing any other position besides shortstop. He said he'll "pack (his) bags and go home" if he's expected to play another position. It's unknown if Tulo will see regular at-bats if he's healthy in 2019 with infielders Aledmys Diaz, Lourdes Gurriel and Bo Bichette in the organization. “We’ll see,” general manager Ross Atkins said. “If Tulo’s healthy and performing at a very high rate, then yes. If he’s healthy and his performance isn’t to the caliber that major-league environments demand, then no. It starts with health." The soon-to-be 34-year-old Tulowitzki missed all of the 2018 season and only played in 66 games for Toronto last year. Fantasy owners really can't expect anything from him at this point.
