Trey Mancini Released From Hospital
5 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Trey Mancini has been released from the hospital but will undergo more testing, according to general manager Mike Elias. Mancini had a malignant tumor removed from his colon last week, and there is no timetable for his return to baseball activities. On the bright side, the slugger has a chance to be ready for the start of the regular season with everything pushed back until at least late May. Still, the uncertainty surrounding Mancini's recovery timeline should cause him to fall in fantasy drafts this weekend. The 28-year-old was one of the few bright spots for the O's in 2019, hitting .291/.364/.535 with 35 home runs and 97 RBI in 154 games.
